Free for players

There is no charge to use Clutch as a player. At no cost you can:

• Create an account and a profile
• Discover tournaments, leagues and community games near you
• Join communities and take part in free community games
• Create and manage a team, and invite team-mates
• See fixtures, live scores, results and standings
• Track your own match history and statistics

There is no subscription, no membership fee and no charge to download the app.

Free for organisers

Creating an organiser account, publishing an event, generating fixtures, assigning officials and recording scores are all free.

Paid events

• Entry fees are set by the organiser of each event, not by Clutch Pvt. Ltd.. They vary by event, by category, and by whether you enter as an individual or a team.
• The full amount is shown before you pay.Every fee is displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) on the event page and again at checkout, itemised by category. There are no fees added after checkout, and no charges for shipping or handling — Clutch delivers nothing physical.
• You are only charged once, at the point of registration. Clutch does not store your payment details or take recurring payments.

Platform fee

Clutch charges a platform fee on each tournament or match registration, in addition to the registration fee set by the event organiser. The fee is GST-inclusive and covers Clutch's payment processing, technology, and platform infrastructure costs. It is always itemised separately from the registration amount at checkout and disclosed before payment is completed.

Who bears the fee

The organiser chooses, per tournament, who bears the platform fee:

• Player pays (the default, chosen at tournament creation): the platform fee is added to the registration fee and disclosed to the player at checkout, included in the total amount charged.
• Organiser absorbs: the platform fee is deducted from the organiser's payout instead. The player is not charged the fee, but it is still shown at checkout as a discounted line item crediting the organiser, so pricing stays transparent across both modes.

Fee structure

The platform fee is tiered by the registration amount:

Example.For an ₹800 tournament, the platform fee is ₹25. If the organiser has chosen “player pays”, the player is charged ₹825 in total (₹800 registration + ₹25 fee). If the organiser “absorbs” it, the player is charged ₹800 only, and ₹25 is deducted from the organiser's payout.

Payments and settlement

Payments are processed through a regulated payment gateway supporting UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets. Rogers Inc is the merchant of record for these transactions and may appear as the merchant on your statement. Taxes

Amounts shown at checkout are the total payable. Any taxes applicable to an organiser's entry fee are the organiser's responsibility and are included in the amount they publish.
